Garage renovation

We had our garage renovated into a playroom. The company were just great from start to finish, all of the builders that came to the house were respectful and lovely. We are so happy with the finish project and nothing was too much for them. I would 100% be using them again in the future and would 100% recommend them. The finish was to such a high standard which is just amazing.

Nick and Steve built us this fantastic outer door on our house. They were very resourceful and overcame various design challenges. They worked really hard and were lovely to have around. They also built a neat MDF cupboard to go around our consumer unit. We also had great, responsive service from Jordan in the office. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

We had our kitchen refurbished

This is the best company that I have experienced in my career. The workmanship was excellent and the staff were pleasant tidy and professional. I would recommend them to all my friends.

Excellent work by Thomas & Walker Building & Refurbishment. Nick, Steve and the guys were brilliant - they delivered the project on budget, on time and massively exceeded our expectations.

We started with a damp, mouldy, flat roof garage conversion, which they transformed by adding a pitched roof and brickwork to match the existing, velux windows, ran a new soil pipe for a bathroom, plastered walls etc. They were happy to tailor the project to suit our budget.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and have already recommended them to friends and neighbours. Thank you very much for the great work!

New patio

This is a brilliant company - so helpful and courteous. Quality of work was very high - would thoroughly recommend.

Thomas and Walker Building and Refurbishment has built me an en-suite extension and put in drainage in my back garden and refurbished my patio, pathway and conservatory. From the outset of initial discussions and throughout planning, building and completion I have found Nick, Stephen, Jordan and their team to be completely professional, helpful and understanding of my needs, often assisting me with ideas as to how best to achieve my wishes in a cost-effective way.

They have also gone over and above their remit when offering help to repair recent weather damage to my garden fence and chimney. I will require further work in the future and know without a shadow of a doubt that I shall commission them to undertake this work as they are a company that I trust. I am delighted to be able to recommend them to any future clients.

Removal of a wall-inset gas fire

We asked them to remove the fire, fill the resulting hole and plaster and paint the wall to match the rest of our living room. This was done very effectively and professionally. We would definitely use this company again.

We are more than Happy with the job it has turned out a lot better than we expected. We had a built-in electric oven and gas hob removed and the space made good for a freestanding gas cooker.

We are very pleased indeed we have found such multi-talented tradesmen - so neat and tidy not even any dust in the kitchen despite tiles needing to be cut and wood needing to be sawed in situ. Truly Perfect in every way :-)

Remove built-in gas hob & electric oven make good install gas cooker

The job was not easy because we needed a hardwood worktop sawed and a space made good for a freestanding gas cooker to replace the old built-in gas hob and electric oven. New tiles needed for the floorspace as well. All done in one day - no mess or dust whatsoever despite floor tiles needing to be cut and the worktop sawed to shape. The sawn edges of the worktop look perfect - shaped exactly like the rest of the worktop with a slightly bevelled edge. Truly perfect - we could not be more happy :-)
